Mom! Wow, I never saw this until now - just sort of stumbled across it. This is so sweet and so very thoughtful! I like how you call Grampa "Daddy" - it's so cute.
ReplyDeleteYou know me well enough to know that I always have something to say... so in response, I have to say two things:
First, I'm so very grateful to be here in this place with you today. God has brought us a long way. Mother/daughter relationships are complex, eh? I'm thankful God gave me a son first so I would have even more time to prepare my heart, if He were to bless me with a daughter in the future!
Second, I'm so very hopeful about where God is taking us as we are building new, good memories and moments to reflect on and be thankful for. Hoping in God isn't taking a chance on Him - He's shown Himself faithful, and He's our ONLY hope! Just can't help but be hopeful about something that God has His hand on, and I believe He has His hand on our relationship.
I love you mom, just for who you are. You're my mom, and I love you.
